We are thrilled to announce the Oak Ridge Track and Field Alumni Reunion, to be held on Saturday, March 29, 2025, in conjunction with the Pioneer Invitational Track Meet at Oak Ridge High School. This exciting event is an opportunity for all past track and field athletes, coaches, administrators, and friends of the program to reconnect and celebrate our shared legacy.

Our last reunion in 2010 was a memorable one (Photos attached), as we welcomed back 100+ former athletes from both the men's and women's side to cheer on the Pioneers at the Metro Championship Meet at Showalter Field in Winter Park. While it might be a tall feat - I am hoping to DOUBLE that number for this event as we bring this back home to Oak Ridge High School.

To make this reunion even more special, we are honored to welcome back Coach John Hemmer and Bill Stamper, who are traveling from out of town to join us. Their contributions to our program have left a lasting impact, and we are excited to share this occasion with them.

 

The meet promises to be a memorable one, featuring:

• A 100m Youth Race for the next generation of athletes.

• A variety of Food Trucks to keep everyone energized.

 

While we are still finalizing the list of participating schools, we anticipate a fantastic day of competition and camaraderie.

We would also like to invite alumni to volunteer during the meet. Volunteers are needed in various roles, including assisting with awards presentations for the athletes. Your involvement will make the event even more impactful for everyone attending.
